The Service

What is Made For You?

Made For You is a premium, white-glove publishing service that ghostwrites, designs, publishes, and distributes your book. We handle every step: from interviews and outlining to editing, cover design, bookstore distribution, and launch.

Who is this for?

  • Entrepreneurs and CEOs who want a lead-generating authority asset
  • Influencers and creators looking to expand their brand
  • Coaches, consultants, and speakers packaging their frameworks
  • Filmmakers adapting their screenplays into novels
  • Professionals who want a powerful credibility tool or legacy piece

If you have a story, a system, or a mission — we make it a market-ready book.

Is this a self-publishing service?

No. You're getting a traditional publishing contract through Library Tales Publishing, an established imprint with global distribution via Simon & Schuster.

What’s the difference between this service and self-publishing?

Self-publishing means doing everything yourself. You’re responsible for hiring a ghostwriter (or writing the book on your own), finding an editor, designing the cover, formatting the files for both print and digital, uploading the manuscript to Amazon, managing metadata, pricing, and categories, and handling all aspects of marketing, printing, and distribution by yourself. You pay for every part of the process — and if something goes wrong, you’re on your own to fix it.

Made For You is a completely different experience. We handle every part of the publishing process for you, professionally and seamlessly. You don’t write the book — we interview you and ghostwrite it. You don’t design or edit — we take care of that in-house. You don’t have to figure out printing or distribution — we publish under Library Tales Publishing and distribute globally through Simon & Schuster. You don’t have to chase opportunities — we position you and your book to attract them.

This isn’t “do it yourself.” It’s “done for you — done right.”

Is this service for authors or writers looking to get published?

No — and here’s why.

If you already have a finished manuscript and are looking for a publisher, click here to visit our submission page and be routed to the appropriate editorial team. It’s 100% free, and we never charge our authors.

That said, Made For You is NOT designed for traditional authors. It’s built for people with a brand, business, or message who don’t have the time, interest, or bandwidth to write a book, but want one.

You say you never charge your authors, and submission is free — so why not just submit a manuscript traditionally?

Great question — and here’s the honest answer:

Yes, traditional manuscript submission is 100% free. We never charge authors who are accepted through our editorial submission process. But that process is:

  • Highly competitive
  • Limited by production capacity
  • Slow — often taking 12 to 18 months from submission to publication

Made For You exists for a different kind of client: someone who wants a book in-hand in 3 months — not 2 years — and who doesn’t want to write it themselves.

If you already have a completed, polished manuscript and are willing to wait, feel free to submit it here.

Why not just hire a ghostwriter and wait for a traditional publishing deal?

You could — but here’s the trade-off:

  • You’ll spend months or years trying to land an agent
  • You’ll rewrite the manuscript multiple times to meet market trends
  • You’ll have little control over your title, cover, or pricing
  • You’ll earn ~10–15% royalties (vs. our 30%)
  • You may never get accepted — or your book could be shelved without being released

Made For You eliminates all of that. No waiting. No gatekeepers. No loss of creative control. You get:

  • A real book
  • A real publishing contract
  • A real launch

In real-time — built around your brand, not the market’s mood

Ghostwriting

What Is Ghostwriting, Really?

Ghostwriting is when a professional writer helps you turn your ideas, stories, or expertise into a polished manuscript — but you’re credited as the author. You own the book. You direct the content. The writer simply helps you execute at a professional level. It’s not outsourcing your voice — it’s amplifying it.

How common is ghostwriting?

It’s way more common than people think.

  • 50% to 80% of all nonfiction books — including business, self-help, and memoir — are ghostwritten or co-written
  • Nearly 100% of celebrity memoirs are ghostwritten
  • In business publishing, 2 out of 3 executives who have a book had professional writing help
  • The ghostwriting industry is projected to hit $7.5 billion globally by 2033
  • Even some of the most iconic books in history—including political memoirs and bestselling self-help titles—were ghostwritten

Ghostwriting is not a secret anymore. It’s a professional norm.

Is Ghostwriting Considered Dishonest?

Not at all. In fact, it’s expected in most professional and public-facing industries. Ghostwriting is simply a collaboration — like hiring a designer to build your website or a director to bring your screenplay to life.

Your name is on the cover because it’s your:

  • Story
  • Method
  • Experience
  • Mission
  • Vision

The ghostwriter helps you express it at a high level. That’s not dishonest — that’s smart delegation

Why Do Successful People Use Ghostwriters?

Because time is their most valuable asset. Founders, CEOs, speakers, politicians, creative executives — they don’t sit down and write 100,000 words. They delegate the process to professionals who:

  • Know how to structure content
  • Capture their voice
  • Understand narrative and pacing
  • Craft books that actually sell and influence

You wouldn’t build your own website from scratch — you’d hire a pro. Same logic applies here.

Can You Tell When a Book Is Ghostwritten?

No. That’s the point. A great ghostwriter writes as the client — not just for them. We use interviews, questionnaires, transcripts, past content, voice notes, and even mannerisms to create a book that sounds like you on your best day — clear, polished, and confident.

Can I Talk to My Ghostwriter Directly?

Yes. In fact, we encourage it. You’ll collaborate directly with your ghostwriter via Zoom, email, and shared documents. You’ll approve:

  • The chapter outline
  • Early drafts
  • Final manuscript

It’s your voice — and we never move forward without your thumbs-up.

The Writing Process

How Long Does It Take the Writer to Produce a Draft?

Once your interviews are complete and the outline is approved, you’ll receive your first chapter draft within 2–3 weeks. The full manuscript is delivered in 90 days or less — including revisions and approvals.

We write and refine as we go, which means you’re reviewing and shaping the book in real time — not waiting months for a finished surprise.

How Involved Can I Be in the Writing Process?

As involved — or as hands-off — as you’d like.

Some clients prefer to approve outlines and drafts quickly and trust the team. Others love providing feedback and collaborating more closely. Either is fine.

You’ll always be invited to:

  • Approve the Table of Contents
  • Review every chapter
  • Suggest edits, rewrites, or additions
  • Ask questions and clarify tone

This is your book — we’re just your creative team.

Are There Unlimited Revisions?

We don’t set a hard limit — because our goal is to make the best book possible.

That said, we work in an efficient, collaborative system designed to avoid endless rewrites. You’ll review every draft in stages and give feedback along the way, so we rarely need more than 2–3 rounds per chapter.

We won’t move forward unless you’re excited about what we’ve created.

What If I Don’t Like My Ghostwriter?

We take great care in matching writers to your tone, story, and subject matter — but if it’s not clicking after the first few interactions, just let us know.

We’ll reassign your project to a new ghostwriter at no cost. Our only priority is making sure you feel confident and creatively aligned.

Can I Bring My Own Ghostwriter?

In some cases, yes. If you already work with a trusted writer, we’re open to collaboration — but we’ll still manage the editorial process to ensure:

  • Brand alignment
  • Retail formatting
  • Editorial standards
  • Publishing readiness

We’ll discuss scope and integration during onboarding. Our system is flexible — and your success is what matters.

What If I Hate the First Draft?

That’s okay — early drafts are just that: starting points.

The first draft is meant to get your ideas on paper and shape the narrative. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Give detailed feedback
  • Reshape tone or structure
  • Add missing pieces or clarify points
  • Ask for rewrites or directional changes

We never publish anything you don’t love. Your name is on the cover — and we take that seriously.

Will this be an AI book?

We use AI the way elite teams use any powerful tool: to support, not to replace. Our ghostwriters may use AI to help generate rough outlines, early drafts, or structural suggestions — but every manuscript goes through a 100% human editorial process before it's ever submitted to you.

  • Final drafts are always human-written, human-edited, and human-approved
  • Our editors, proofreaders, and designers are all professional publishing staff
  • Every manuscript is refined to pass even the strictest “AI detection” tests

We don’t outsource your voice to a robot.

We use AI like we use spellcheck — to move faster, not cut corners. At the end of the day, your book will be handcrafted by professionals — and it will read like it

Do I get to approve the content?

Of course! It's your book! Nothing moves forward without your sign-off.

What kinds of books do you produce?

We publish both nonfiction and fiction:

  • Memoirs
  • Self-help
  • Business & branding books
  • Coaching systems & educational frameworks
  • Screenplay novelizations
  • Spiritual & wellness books
  • Personal development books
  • Fictional stories with brand-alignment

What if I don’t know what my book should be about?

That’s okay. Our intake and discovery process helps shape your message, story, or method into a viable publishing plan.

  • Framework
  • Origin story
  • Thought leadership
  • Personal mission
  • System or IP

How Much Time Is This Going to Take Out of My Schedule?

Surprisingly little.

We’ve designed this service for high-performers, founders, and creators who don’t have time to write a book — or manage a publishing process.

Here’s what’s typically required from you:

  • 1 Zoom interview (30–60 minutes)
  • Questionnaire (fill out on your own time)
  • Quick approvals on your Table of Contents and draft chapters
  • Light feedback via email or call (optional — we keep it tight)
  • A final sign-off before we move to design and production

We handle everything else — research, writing, editing, formatting, publishing, distribution, and launch prep.

The Publishing Process

How long does it take to get published?

  • Book creation (writing, editing, design): 90 days or less
  • Launch timeline (pre-orders, signing, rollout): 3–6 months post-approval

This is faster than any traditional model, with zero compromise in quality.

Can I request changes to the cover or layout?

Absolutely. You’ll be shown options and invited to give feedback until you’re happy with the final product.

Is this a hardcover or paperback?

We typically do both. Most clients opt for paperback for cost-effectiveness, but hardcover is available — especially useful for prestige positioning, gifting, or collectors’ editions.

Who distributes the book?

All titles are distributed globally via Simon & Schuster.  Your book will be available to order through:

  • Amazon
  • Barnes & Noble
  • Walmart
  • Bookshop.org
  • Libraries
  • Indie bookstores
  • International distributors

Will my book be in bookstores physically?

Yes — upon launch, we coordinate a book signing event at Barnes & Noble or a major bookstore in your city. Stocking in independent stores depends on demand and local orders, but we handle full retail metadata, making your book easily discoverable.

What marketing is included?

  • Custom sales landing page
  • Email templates and sales copy
  • Pre-launch press release
  • Barnes & Noble event coordination
  • Metadata optimization for online discovery
  • PR campaigns
  • Author booking
  • Paid traffic management

Do I need to pay for marketing?

Absolutely not, marketing is one of the key perks of signing a contract with a traditional book publisher. We take care of everything!

Do I get royalties?

Yes. You keep 50% of all net retail royalties for life. Every sale — Amazon, bookstores, bulk orders — pays you. We handle accounting, payouts, and reporting.

What’s the royalty timeline?

Royalties are paid bi-annually, along with a full breakdown of:

  • Units sold
  • Channels
  • Net revenue
  • Opportunities for reprints or promotions

Do I own the book?

Yes. You retain all intellectual property rights. We hold publishing rights only as your publisher, not the underlying content/IP.

Can I license or adapt my book?

Absolutely. It’s your content. You’re free to:

  • Turn it into a course
  • Adapt it into a film
  • Sell foreign rights
  • Rebrand it for another product

We can assist with licensing if requested.

What’s the true value of a book?

  • Builds instant credibility
  • Acts as a sales weapon for high-ticket offers
  • Secures speaking gigs, podcast invites, and press features
  • Provides a royalty-generating asset for life
  • Creates a legacy piece you can hand down, repurpose, or license
  • Costs less than hiring multiple freelancers — and delivers far more

Do I get the same privileges as your traditionally-published authors?

Yes — 100%. Whether your book is ghostwritten through Made For You or submitted through our traditional process, you are a Library Tales Publishing author with full publishing rights, privileges, and support.

That includes:

  • Global retail distribution through Simon & Schuster
  • Royalties (50% of net retail)
  • Bookstore events
  • Publicity opportunities
  • Access to your sales and royalty data
  • The ability to order discounted author copies for resale

No fine print. No hierarchy. No hidden costs. Once you’re published — you’re in.
